Robert prior to the service and before approaching the Chalice to ask for a blessing to receive.

YOUCARING—Expanding the Mission: Our Mission has the opportunity to move into the much larger space with a large front window on West St. to expand our bookstore and outreach efforts and make more room for new families and individuals. We’ve been offered a $5,000 matching grant to be used for this purpose. Please share the YOUCARING opportunity with your family and friends on social media. Also, we need an additional $400 (at a minimum) in monthly pledges to be able to make the move. Please see Fr. Robert and/or Rdr. Zenon if you can help. Give your generous gift here to expand the mission.

Troparion             (Resurrection)            Tone 5

Let us, the faithful, praise and worship the Word, //co-eternal with the Father and the Spirit,

born for our salvation from the Virgin;// for He willed to be lifted up on the Cross in the flesh,

to endure death, // and to raise the dead//by His glorious Resurrection.

Troparion             (St Gregory Palamas)            Tone 8

O light of Orthodoxy, teacher of the Church, its confirmation,

O ideal of monks and invincible champion of theologians,

O wonderworking Gregory, glory of Thessalonica and preacher of grace,//

always intercede before the Lord that our souls may be saved!

Troparion               (Angels) Tone 4

O Commanders of the heavenly hosts, // we who are unworthy beseech you:

by your prayers encompass us beneath the wings of your immaterial glory,

and faithfully preserve us who fall down and cry to you://

Deliver us from all harm, for you are the Commanders of the Powers on high!

Kontakion            (from the Lenten Triodion) Tone 4

Now is the time for action! // Judgment is at the doors! // So let us rise and fast,

offering alms with tears of compunction and crying:

“Our sins are more in number than the sands of the sea;

but forgive us, O Master of all,// so that we may receive the incorruptible crowns!”

Kontakion            (St Gregory Palamas)            Tone 8

Holy and divine instrument of wisdom, // joyful trumpet of theology,

together we sing thy praises, O God-inspired Gregory.

Since thou now standest before the Original Mind, guide our minds to Him, O Father,//

so that we may sing to thee: “Rejoice, O preacher of grace!”

Kontakion            (Angels) Tone 2

Commanders of God’s armies//and ministers of the divine glory, // princes of the bodiless Angels

and guides of mankind;//ask for what is good for us, and for great mercy,//

O Supreme Commanders of the Bodiless Hosts.
